Welcome to the Blog of society amateur "SuperMachimationStudios.
I introduce myself, I Sarge, the coordinator of the company (nice to meet you) and manager of the Blog.
reading you may ask, for sure, what does the society: it is very simple, we make Machinima. I have
Machinima film (or television, or shorts) made using the graphics engines of video games more important (examples are the SOURCE of Half-Life and the CryEngine Crysis / Far Cry) or the video games themselves (the episodes of the saga Halo and Call of Duty).
I assure you that making films of this kind is not easy, you have ideas, creativity, imagination and above all time, long time, why do Machinima is an art, but it is also a passion that must be constantly cultivated ...
Thanks to my passion for film I wanted to found this company, a little bit because I think it an interesting and a little bit because in Italy the Machinima is greatly devalued or unknown, can be counted on the fingers amateur clubs who produce Machinima, but you do about it, that's Italy!
second point of our conversation: the name.
The company name was inspired by the technique of Supemarionation: a technique used in the '70s TV series to animate, in a fairly realistic, wooden puppets, and if we think that in Machinima are animated models of the characters as if they were puppets (although digital and 3D) the name is self-explanatory (Studios do not think I need an explanation, I hope).
Currently projects under development are just a couple (one of which is a partnership with another company always strictly Italian), but we would have to talk so extensively in the dedicated post, make no mistake.
now turn to the formal presentations: In addition to the undersigned, who is the project coordinator and writer, we have two other willing collaborators (assistants is too simplistic to describe them, really), they are:
- JonDoe: assist in dealing with " Public Relations also helps me with the drafts of the plots and with advice of any kind (this Thanks to her knowledge of literature, no doubt);
- Simonko: the head of visual effects and 3D environments, he has been and still is, a strong presence in our society, his experience in the field of 3D modeling and his computer skills make him a good way to count on.
